Apply via Dice today The experience expected from applicants, as well as additional skills and qualifications needed for this job are listed below.Job Title: Data Governance Analyst/Data Quality Analyst Location: Charlotte, NC or Chicago, and Denver Work Arrangement: Onsite Client Industry: Banking Duration:12-18 Months (Possibility of Full-Time Conversion) About the Role: We are seeking a Senior Data Governance Analyst with strong expertise in data quality, metadata management, and stakeholder engagement. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of driving data governance initiatives independently while collaborating closely with business and technical teams. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with enterprise-level and local data governance, data architecture, data engineering, and data quality teams. Capture and document the current state of data quality (DQ) controls; define and implement DQ controls to remediate gaps and establish measurement standards. Identify, compare, and resolve data quality issues across multiple domains. Conduct root cause analysis for data quality errors and recommend sustainable solutions. Assess and communicate business impact levels of data quality issues. Ensure compliance with enterprise data quality and governance standards. Recommend, implement, and monitor preventative and corrective measures to meet quality assurance objectives. Present findings, recommendations, and reports to stakeholders using Excel and PowerPoint. What We re Looking For: Senior-level experience in Data Governance/Data Quality. Proven track record of stakeholder management and requirement gathering. Exposure to Metadata Management platforms. Strong communication and presentation skills, with comfort in high-stakes stakeholder interaction. Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint. Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work independently and proactively drive initiatives Compensation: Hourly Rate: $55 $60 per hour This range reflects base compensation and may vary based on location, market conditions, experience, and candidate qualifications.
