Lincoln Surgical Hospital is an innovative healthcare leader in providing exceptional surgical services for our patients. Our dedicated physicians and staff strive to achieve optimal surgical outcomes in a patient-focused atmosphere.

Hours: PRN (as needed), flexible schedule with varying hours primarily weekends between 7:00 am - 5:00 pm.

Job duties include but are not limited to:

Performs evaluations and develops effective patient treatment plans to restore, maintain or prevent the decline of patient function, by planning and administering medically-prescribed therapy treatments in accordance with federal, state and professional standards governing the treatment location.
Meet the patient's goals and needs and provide quality care by assessing and interpreting evaluations and test results.
Determine treatment plans in consultation with physicians and by prescription.
Help patients to secure necessary supplies and adaptive equipment in order to facilitate independence.
Administers therapy treatments according to a plan of care approved by the attending physician.
Evaluate effects of therapy treatments by observing, noting and evaluating patient's progress.
Complete discharge planning by consulting with physicians, nurses, social workers, health advocates, and other health care workers.
Assure continuation of therapeutic plan following discharge by designing patient specific maintenance programs.
Must be a graduate from an accredited program for Occupational Therapy.
A current Nebraska Occupational Therapist license is required.
Current BLS is required at the time of hire.
