Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

The truck driver role will assist as needed with both driving and with warehouse operations.

•Have reliable transportation to get to and from work

•Good communication / customer service skills

•Ability to multitask and possess written skills

•Team player, ability to take direction, and positive attitude

•Occasional building maintenance and vehicle maintenance, if candidate has experience in these areas is a bonus.

•Organize parts inventory in warehouse.

•Delivery / pick up of customer units (over the road truck/trailer combo)

•Delivery / pick up of customer semi-trailers with company tractor

•Delivery / pick up of customer replacement parts with company pickup truck.

•DOT and non-DOT truck and trailer inspections

•Loading and strapping in load / off loading

•Face to face customer interactions

•Managing vehicle documentation including timesheets, pre-trip inspection sheets

•Load and unload trucks with forklift.

•Assist warehousing and production as needed when hauling is not required.

•Performs other related duties as directed.

Requirements

Experience, Education, and Licensure/Certification Requirements:

•High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

•Must have and maintain class A CDL Driver's License

•Have a clean MVR and be insurable by company auto policy

•No moving infractions within past two years

•At least two years of work experience in a warehouse required.

Required Skills/Abilities:

•Ability to work additional days and overtime as required.

•Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

•Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

•Basic understanding of or ability to quickly learn company product codes and terminology.

•Thorough understanding of warehouse policies and procedures.

•Good analytical skills and ability to make sound judgments relative to inventory.

Physical Requirements:

•Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistently meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.

•Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance

•Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

•Must be able to work in a fast paced, loud, and labor-intensive environment in variable temperatures (from outdoor heat to indoor refrigerated coolers).

•Must be able to stand for long periods of time.

•Must have the ability to move around the warehouse.

•Must have visual acuity (ability to see well and close up) to visually sort hops.

Salary Description
