Join our team of compassionate and client driven professionals We are seeking skilled assistants to share their skills and compassion in a new state-of-the-art facility located in the Hollywood neighborhood in NE Portland.

As a Veterinary Assistant, you will:

+ Triage and obtain patient history

+ Obtain and monitor vital signs on incoming and hospitalized patients

+ Contribute to maintaining a clean and orderly working environment

+ Identify patients at risk for arrest and initiate CPR

+ Communicate with clients to provide inpatient updates

+ Provide phone triage to assess potential ER cases

+ Place peripheral IVC's and learn to place advanced catheters such as Central Lines or PICC lines.

+ Monitor and care for hospitalized patients

+ Perform diagnostics and outpatient care

+ Work alongside other skilled technicians and assistants in providing excellent, advanced medicine to your patients

+ Have a passion for both mentoring other co-workers as well as learning from them

+ Feel gratification of nursing critically ill patients back to health and reunite them with their pet parents
