Seasonal Operations Manager

Job DetailsJob LocationLong Beach, CAPosition TypeSeasonalDescriptionThe Operations Manager for Dark Harbor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the maze attractions, managing queue lines, and supervising event staff to ensure a smooth, safe, and thrilling guest experience. This role includes coordinating staff, addressing operational issues, and maintaining safety protocols throughout the event. Key Responsibilities:- Manage and oversee maze operations, ensuring all attractions are running efficiently and safely.- Supervise queue line management to optimize guest flow and reduce wait times.- Lead, schedule, and train event staff- Monitor guest satisfaction, resolving issues or complaints as they arise.- Ensure compliance with safety guidelines and emergency protocols.- Report on daily operations and performance metrics to upper management.QualificationsQualifications:- Proven experience in event or operations management, preferably in themed entertainment or haunt events.- Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays during the haunt season. The operations manager reports to the general manager and is responsible for the guest experience throughout the event. Physical RequirementsBe able to stand, walk and work in varying environments for up to 6 hours at a time.Ability to work a varying schedule in terms of days and hours, as dictated by business needs.Ability to lift 25 lbs.Perks 20% off discount in the gift shop Free, unlimited admission to all Thirteenth Floor Entertainment Group events on select nights throughout the Halloween season 2 comp tickets to share with family and friends.
