Job Summary:
The Account Manager will serve as the primary liaison between the company and our clients, ensuring a thorough understanding of their needs and delivering tailored metal manufacturing solutions. This role requires strong relationship-building skills, technical knowledge, and a proactive approach to account management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Relationship Development: Build and nurture strong relationships with key accounts, acting as their trusted advisor and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Needs Assessment and Solutions: Identify client requirements and collaborate with internal teams to develop and propose effective manufacturing solutions that meet their specific needs.
  • Project Management: Oversee the execution of projects from initial inquiry through delivery, coordinating with engineering, production, and quality assurance teams to ensure timelines and specifications are met.
  • Sales Growth and Strategy: Drive revenue growth by identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling products and services to existing clients.
  • Contract and Pricing Negotiation: Prepare and negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with clients to ensure competitive and profitable agreements.
  • Market Awareness: Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to effectively position the company's offerings.
  • Performance Reporting: Provide regular updates to management on account performance, sales forecasts, and emerging challenges, using data to support strategic decisions.
  • Customer Support: Address client inquiries, concerns, and issues promptly, ensuring excellent service and fostering long-term loyalty.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in account management, sales, or customer service within the manufacturing or metal industry.
  • Strong understanding of metal manufacturing processes and product offerings.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Willingness to travel as required to meet with clients and attend industry events.
