Amazon is seeking a smart, creative, and driven PR specialist to join the Alexa team. In this role, you will work on product launches, storytelling initiatives, and momentum PR programs.

You will have experience planning and executing consumer campaigns that reach lifestyle media and influencers, developing impactful launch strategies for products or services, and building effective working relationships with media. A successful candidate will be a strong writer, have exceptional attention to detail, demonstrate bias for action, and be able to work collaboratively across internal PR and external agency partners.

This role is open to candidates based out of the Seattle, WA office location.

Key job responsibilities

Plan and execute communications programs geared towards lifestyle and technology media

Work cross-functionally to plan and execute cross-channel communications plans

Regularly interact with business and marketing teams to plan for launches and generate news

Execute storytelling initiatives across earned and owned channels

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

5+ years of recent professional communications or public relations experience

Bachelor's degree

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

High levels of creativity

Strong written and verbal communications

Knowledge of consumer technology landscape

Relationships with consumer/lifestyle media and influencers

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $68,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $147,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
