About the Job

Purpose of Position:The purpose of the B Technician is to have a highly trained and knowledgeable employee able to diagnose, inspect, repair, service, perform digital inspections (VHIs), and maintenance.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform thorough and accurate Vehicle Health Inspections as trained by the My Car Doc management for proper functionality and safety.
  • Communicate needed up-sells and repair recommendations and provide accurate estimates of costs and timelines.
  • Use Mitchell1 to research client history and perform services correctly.
  • Dedication to delivering maximum customer service to each client.
  • Complete repairs and maintenance tasks efficiently and accurately, following manufacturer specifications and industry best practices.
  • Keep detailed records of work performed and parts used.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols and regulations.
  • Assist other technicians as needed.
  • Proper disposal of parts and chemicals.
  • Mentor and provide guidance to junior technicians as needed.

Pay:
  • Up to $30.00/hour + performance bonus.

Requirements:
  • Minimum 4 years experience as an Automotive Mechanic or in a similar role required.
  • Knowledge of automotive service and repair procedures.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in completing tasks.
  • Commitment to quality workmanship.

Job Type: Full-time.
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week.

  • Valid driver’s license.

  • Ability to diagnose and repair AC systems, electrical systems, coolant systems, etc.
