Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of the floral department.
- Manage inventory and order supplies as needed.
- Create and design floral arrangements for various occasions.
- Train and supervise floral department staff.
- Ensure excellent customer service is provided at all times.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Work closely with suppliers to ensure a diverse selection of flowers and plants.
- Manage the department's budget and financial performance.
- Adhere to safety and health regulations.
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote the floral department.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints.
- Monitor sales and adjust inventory levels accordingly.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operations.
- Plan and execute special events and promotions.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices.
- Ensure proper care and maintenance of flowers and plants.
- Prepare reports on department performance and sales.
- Implement and enforce company policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular staff meetings and training sessions.
- Foster a positive and productive work environment.
- Proven experience as a Floral Manager or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of flowers, plants, and floral design.
- Excellent leadership and management skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Customer service-oriented with a positive attitude.
- Proficient in inventory management and budgeting.
- Creative and detail-oriented.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Knowledge of safety and health regulations.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy items.
- Proficient in using floral design software and tools.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in floral design or horticulture is a plus.
- Experience in retail or customer service is preferred.
