About the Role:We're seeking creative full-time educators passionate about early childhood development. The ideal candidates will:
- Plan and deliver engaging curriculum
- Schedule, prepare, and conduct parent-teacher conferences
- Communicate professionally with parents and coworkers
- Interact appropriately and supportively with children
The J’s Early Childhood Program is state-accredited and licensed, utilizing the Reggio Emilia approach and Conscious Discipline framework to provide value-driven programming. We care for children ages 6 weeks to 5 years in a nurturing environment, operating Monday through Friday, 7:30 am to 5:30 pm. Flexibility to work within these hours is required.
Qualifications:
- Minimum age of 18
- High school diploma or GED required
- Prior experience working with children
- Prior educational experience
- Willingness to pursue a minimum of nine credit hours in Early Childhood Education if needed (funded by The J)
- Experience with the Reggio Emilia Approach is a plus
- Must register with the MO Family Care Registry and maintain active registration
- Annual TB testing and current Hepatitis A vaccinations required
