Job Location: Olde Towne Apartments ( 1074 Park Ln #3459, Middletown, OH 45042)
Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and motivated Leasing Consultant to join our team on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for leasing activities, client interactions, and property management.
Responsibilities:
- Present apartments, houses, or other properties to prospective clients in a persuasive manner.
- Assist residential landlords in discovering suitable tenants.
- Promote unoccupied properties through various media and advertising techniques.
- Evaluate clients’ requirements and financial capacity to create personalized presentations.
- Provide accurate information on property features.
- Validate application information and references.
- Negotiate leasing terms and complete agreements.
- Stay informed about the property market status.
- Conduct periodic property inspections and ensure proper maintenance.
Skills:
- Proven working experience as a leasing consultant.
- Good knowledge of leasing rules and regulations.
- Demonstrated track record of successful sales.
- Proficiency in YARDI software is essential. Basic understanding of MS Office.
- Excellent presentation and negotiation skills.
- Familiarity with marketing and sales techniques.
- Customer-focused approach.
Compensation:
- Hourly pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour.
- Opportunity for professional development and referral bonuses.
- Commissions:
- Move-In Commission: Leasing Consultants receive $100 for each successful move-in, which they get to keep in full.
- Renewal Commission: For each lease renewal, the $125 commission is split among all employees within the property.
Schedule:
- Initially part-time, with the possibility of transitioning to full-time.
- 8-hour shifts, Monday to Friday, with occasional overtime.
- Availability for weekend work (2-3 Saturdays a month).
Experience and Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in property leasing (required).
- Proficiency in YARDI software (preferred).
- Valid driver’s license (required).
- Work location: In person.
