Heart CPR, an equal opportunity employer, is looking for Healthcare professionals to join our team of ACLS / PALS / BLS Instructors for our Orange CA location.

Job Description:
  • Teach ACLS, PALS, and BLS courses in accordance with the American Heart Association (AHA) curriculum to Healthcare professionals.

Required Qualifications:
  • Education and experience in a healthcare-related position requiring ACLS provider skills, such as but not limited to registered nurse (RN) or licensed vocational nurse (LVN), respiratory therapist, and paramedic.
  • Current practice in a healthcare occupation where ACLS skills and knowledge are within the provider's scope of practice.
  • Practical experience in performing the skills taught and the ability to effectively communicate the skills to students.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Current American Heart Association ACLS / PALS Instructor or ability to successfully complete the Instructor program.

Duties / Responsibilities:
  • Provide excellent customer service to clients.
  • Teach courses in accordance with the AHA curriculum.
  • Ensure timely set-up and clean-up of classroom facility.
  • Inspect and maintain training equipment, and report any loss or damage.
  • Ensure timely completion of reports and certification documents.
  • Perform daily routine duties as assigned.

Schedule
  • Flexible part-time schedule 2 to 3 days per week, 4 to 8 hours per day. 
  • Classes are offered on weekdays/evenings and weekends, depending on Instructor availability.

Pay Rate
  • $35-$45 per hour.
