At our breathtaking coastal southern Maine resort, we are currently seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager to join our team. As the Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue and fostering client relationships. With a focus on both catering and group sales, you will utilize your exceptional communication skills and in-depth knowledge of the hospitality industry to attract new clients and ensure the satisfaction and loyalty of our existing guests. Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain relationships with both catering and corporate clients, travel agencies, and wedding/event planners to secure group bookings and catering events.
  • Develop targeted sales strategies for designated vertical market of corporate business.
  • Prepare and present proposals, including pricing and packages, tailored to clients’ needs. 
  • Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to promote the Hotel and generate leads.
  • Conduct impactful site tours and familiarization tours aimed at attracting new business and highlighting the unique offerings of our hotel.
  • Create and implement effective sales strategies to attract high-end wedding clients to the resort.
  • Accountable for managing financial performance to achieve expense budget goals and meet gross revenue targets.
 Qualifications
  • 4-6 years of previous sales experience with an independent hotel or resort.
  • 2 years of experience selling or working weddings.
  • Flexibility with workdays and hours, while enjoying yourself and the team.
  • Proven experience in sales, preferably in the hospitality industry, with intimate knowledge of Delphi.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with fluency in English.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients.
  • Flexibility in work schedule, including availability for irregular hours and weekends.
  • Outstanding critical thinking skills and the ability to multitask effectively while maintaining diligence.
  • Strong self-motivation and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
