Who we are looking for:Digital Joy is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Vice President of Sales and Marketing to join our team. You will play a crucial role in driving revenue growth through strategic media sales and establishing and nurturing partnerships and marketing strategies. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record in media sales, a deep understanding of the media landscape, and the ability to cultivate and maintain strong relationships with partners Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Strategic Sales Leadership:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive media sales strategy to achieve revenue targets and business objectives.
- Lead a high-performing sales team, providing guidance, coaching, and support to ensure individual and team success.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities and partnerships that can drive sales, open new distribution channels, and expand the company's footprint in the market.
- Establish KPIs and monitor the performance of sales efforts, adjusting approaches as needed. Use data and feedback to refine the sales funnel and improve conversion rates.
- Drive the creation of compelling sales collateral, white papers, case studies, and video content to support the sales process and enhance customer understanding of our solutions.
- Cultivate and nurture strategic partnerships with key media outlets, advertisers, and other relevant stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create innovative partnership opportunities that drive mutual value.
- Negotiate and finalize partnership agreements, ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives.
- Stay informed about industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscape.
- Conduct regular market analysis to identify opportunities for growth and adapt strategies accordingly.
- Work closely with the marketing team to develop and execute effective campaigns that drive revenue and maximize ROI.
- Implement pricing strategies and packaging solutions to optimize revenue streams.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention.
- Act as a key point of contact for clients, addressing concerns, and proactively identifying opportunities for upselling.
- Lead negotiations for media sales and partnership agreements, ensuring favorable terms for all parties involved.
- Collaborate with legal teams to review and finalize contracts in accordance with company policies.
Qualifications:
- 10+ Years of proven experience in media sales and partnerships development, preferably in a related industry.
- Strong understanding of the media landscape, advertising trends, and digital marketing.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to analyze data and market trends to inform strategic decision-making.
- Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
