This role is responsible for:
  • Working directly with new MB2 dentists on gathering and updating their credentials to support the initial credentialing and insurance enrollment processes.
  • Interfacing with Directors of Operations to streamline communication towards completion of priorities related to credentialing and provider payer set-up.
  • Acts as a resource for Operations and Credentialing to strengthen the partnership between departments.
Responsibilities
  1. Providing support in the onboarding of new* MB2 dentists, including:
    • Procuring new MB2 dentist credentialing documents required for onboarding, including:
      • Application (assisting providers with the online completion)
      • licensure
      • prescription writing privileges
      • professional liability insurance
      • education and work history
    • Track progress of completion of each provider’s credentialing packet in a designated Credentialing Liaison Credential’s Tracker.
    • Obtaining specific location/insurance enrollment guidance from Operations.
    • White glove service helping providers enter their background and credentialing data into credentialing software:
      • demographics
      • office assignment
      • credentials
      • education/specialty training
      • work history
    • Notify Credentialing when the Credential Stream record is ready for enrollment to begin.
    • Credentialing will assign to the appropriate Enrollment Coordinator.
    • Monitors progress of enrollments for Operations using insurance turn-around-time frame estimation reports.
  2. Facilitates the tracking and communication of Credentialing-related needs for Operations:
    • Acts as an interface between Credentialing and the Directors of Operations.
    • Front-line resource for Operations and Credentialing for communication and tracking the status and resolution of identified priorities or issues without an immediate resolution.
  3. Additional tasks or projects based on business needs may be assigned.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 2+ years' experience is preferred:
    • Dental or Health experience is a plus, but not required.
    • Dental or Health insurance (PPO/HMO/Medicaid, EPO, Discount Plans, etc) enrollment/credentialing experience preferred, but not required.
    • Strong background in customer service required, whether externally or internally facing.
    • Trouble-shooting strong attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel & Email – Outlook), Adobe Pro and an ability to learn new computer applications.
  • Verity Stream credentialing software experience a plus, but not required.
  • Monday Board software experience a plus, but not required.
  • Strong administrative and data entry skills.
  • Great verbal & written communication.
