Welder / Mechanic

Seeking experienced Welder-Mechanic to maintain and repair trucks (pick-up to Tractor) and heavy equipment consisting of excavation equipment and drill rigs (5,000lbs to 32,000lbs).

Welder Duties:

• Repair and build-up of drilling tools / Augers. Some fabrication work.

Mechanic:

• Repair and maintenance of Trucks and Equipment.

Potential additional capabilities would be a plus, but not required for this position:

• Heavy equipment operation.
• CDL for equipment transport.

Soiltesting Inc. is a Geotechnical Drilling Contractor working thru out southern New England and New York since 1958. This is a 40 hr per week position but may require some OT. The more versatile the person's skills, the more opportunity for OT.
