Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Take a proactive approach to engage with commercial clients, acting as a trusted advisor to understand their unique needs and tailor solutions to drive their success.
- Drive sales by effectively negotiating terms for large commercial credit extensions, ensuring a balance of profitability, risk mitigation, and client satisfaction.
- Utilize your expertise in financial analysis to assess client creditworthiness and present compelling recommendations to our loan committee.
- Champion profitability within our commercial portfolio through diligent monitoring of loan performance, proactive risk management, and responsive client service.
- Maintain meticulous compliance with lending policies and procedures, ensuring thorough documentation and seamless audit processes.
- Leverage your sales acumen to cross-sell a wide range of banking products and services, building holistic relationships that add value to clients' businesses.
- Collaborate with colleagues to meet both individual and team goals, fostering a culture of teamwork and mutual support.
- Uphold the highest standards of regulatory compliance, staying abreast of industry regulations and proactively addressing any compliance-related issues.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field preferred, or equivalent relevant job experience.
- A minimum of four years of experience in a commercial banking function handling a variety of loan including C&I, CRE, healthcare, and agriculture.
- A strong background in sales and customer relationship management.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Deep understanding of the local market dynamics, enabling you to anticipate client needs and tailor solutions accordingly.
- Proven track record of sales success, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences and driving revenue growth.
