Process Engineer

SCOPE:
- Development of P&ID drawings and process design for major and minor detailed engineering projects.
- Ability to create mass and energy balances for projects and studies.
- Lead or assist as requested in analyzing and defining project scope, estimated cost, and technical aspects of a project in accordance with the client and our specifications.
- Perform field surveys in preparation for design.
- Prepare drawings, purchase specifications, schedules, operation manuals, and related construction details for projects.
- Support field installation, checkout, and start-up of mechanical equipment and piping systems.
- Displays ability to troubleshoot process-related issues during startups or mill visits.
- Participate and lead client and project team meetings as required.
- Assist the Project Engineer in performing administrative tasks as required.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Must possess and display in-depth knowledge and experience in process-related industries as it pertains to the operation and design of the facilities.
- Experience and knowledge should allow for independent decision-making concerning process design and project development.
- Must possess a college degree in Chemical Engineering.
