Job Description:
The Youth Basketball Coach will lead, motivate, and teach children and teens fundamental basketball skills in a fun, safe, and engaging environment. This role is perfect for someone who loves working with youth, has a strong knowledge of basketball, and values flexibility in their schedule.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and conduct basketball practices and games for youth participants.
  • Teach the fundamentals of basketball, including dribbling, shooting, passing, defense, and teamwork.
  • Create a positive, encouraging environment that promotes confidence and sportsmanship.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of all participants during practices and games.
  • Communicate effectively with parents, participants, and other staff members.
  • Maintain equipment and ensure the basketball court is set up properly.
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience playing or coaching basketball preferred.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work with children and teens in a supportive and motivating manner.
  • Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends.
  • CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
