We’re seeking a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our e-commerce team The ideal candidate will bring our brand story to life, crafting engaging video content that drives conversions, builds brand loyalty, and enhances customer experience. You’ll work closely with our marketing, content, and product teams to create high-quality videos for our social media platforms, website, ads, and other digital channels. If you’re passionate about storytelling, video production, and the latest digital trends, we’d love to have you on board.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and Edit Video Content: Produce high-quality video content for e-commerce platforms, including product demos, testimonials, ads, tutorials, and brand stories.
- Conceptualize and Collaborate: Work with marketing and product teams to understand project requirements and develop creative concepts that align with our brand voice and objectives.
- Optimize for Platforms: Tailor videos for different platforms, including social media (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube) and e-commerce sites, ensuring the best format, length, and visual style for each.
- Enhance Visual Appeal: Use motion graphics, effects, and music to elevate video quality and keep content fresh and engaging.
- Maintain Brand Consistency: Ensure all videos align with brand aesthetics, message, and tone across different channels.
- Analyze Performance: Monitor video engagement metrics and apply insights to improve future content, experimenting with new editing techniques and styles as needed.
- Manage Video Assets: Organize and archive all video assets for easy access and efficient re-use.
- Experience: 2+ years in video editing, ideally within e-commerce or digital marketing; a portfolio showcasing e-commerce or brand-driven content.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, etc.) and familiarity with audio editing tools.
- Creative Vision: Strong storytelling abilities with a keen eye for design, layout, and timing.
- Platform Knowledge: Understanding of video best practices for various social media platforms and e-commerce channels.
- Organizational Skills: Excellent time management, ability to juggle multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
- Communication: Strong collaboration and communication skills to work across departments and receive feedback constructively.
- Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing brand needs and trends in digital content.
- Background in digital marketing or branding.
- Familiarity with e-commerce platforms such as Shopify, Amazon, or similar.
- Experience in basic animation or motion graphics creation.
