- Provide guests with an experience that will always be remembered and with the highest level of responsiveness.
- Project an approachable and professional image in personal appearance, manner, and demeanor.
- Maintain a work environment of cleanliness and organization.
- Acknowledge and greet all guests with utmost courtesy and urgency, to assist.
- Serve as information liaison to Manager.
- Serve as “first responder” and “gatekeeper” for amenities and team, answering questions, aiding, and responding to needs quickly and accurately.
- Handle customer service needs with a friendly and caring – yet assertive – demeanor, following community standards and facility guidelines; must be comfortable approaching residents who may not be following policies; capable of handling escalated situations.
- Regularly disinfect frequently touched surfaces on the pool deck and in the restrooms, including pool ladder handles, lounge and deck chairs, trash cans, tabletops, restroom surfaces, and door handles.
- Enforce pool rules
- Perform the daily closing ritual, including informing swimmers of closing 15 minutes in advance: disinfecting and straightening chairs and tables: putting umbrellas down: sanitizing bathrooms and regularly touching surfaces; tallying guest logs; and securing property upon leaving.
- Assist with events, programs, and activities as requested
- Assist with administrative functions, facilitating the completion of pool and slide waivers as needed
- Ensure that all guests are adhering to the established facility use agreement; monitor guests; as necessary, check wristbands and verify access rights; respectfully and with high courtesy work with guests to resolve infractions.
- Collect items left by residents; store lost items in the lost and found; retrieve and return to the owner as necessary.
- Visually inspect the pool to ensure proper clarity and cleanliness; notify the manager of any items that would require immediate attention.
- Submit work orders and follow up as necessary.
Qualifications:
- Must be able to lift at least 30 pounds, stay on feet for long periods of time, and be physically able to complete the execution of duties.
