Responsibilities will include the following:
  • "Hands-on" team player that has at least 2 years of kitchen experience and some FOH experience.
  • A positive attitude and ability to work well under pressure.
  • We need someone who can lead by example in the kitchen and dining room to create future leaders.
  • Ensuring that all food & beverage items and products are stored, prepared, and served based on the restaurant’s recipe, preparation, and portion standards.
  • Evaluating and disciplining personnel accordingly and making employment and termination decisions.
  • Ordering materials and ingredients based on the menu and market demand.
  • Supervising food preparation in the kitchen to serving in the FOH ensuring that customers are satisfied.
  • Maintaining safe and clean working environments and making sure that employees follow the restaurant’s preventive maintenance measures.
  • Ensuring food safety to company and government standards.
  • Maintaining adequate inventory levels and conducting inventories.
  • Working with the Restaurant Manager to create menu items, pricing, and establishing portion sizes of each meal and beverage.
  • Scheduling shifts by business hours, days, and occasions.
  • Overseeing the training of employees to ensure the safe operation of equipment and utensils and the proper handling of heavy items and hazardous materials.
  • Ensure delivery of quality food and beverages in a timely manner.
  • Ensure tables are enjoying their meals and take action to correct any problems.

Job Type: Full-time exempt

Pay: $51,000.00 per year and additional bonus potential of $10,000.00 with paid time off.
Salary paid by the following schedule $40,000 spread over 52 weeks to and a bonus $11,000 ($500 for 22 weeks from May to October). Plus a bonus potential of $10,000.00 for achieving goals.
