Brief description of the position:
  • Promote healthy family interactions.
  • Teach children and families new skills (social, emotional, problem-solving, safety).

  • Starting pay $20.00 per hour, negotiable based on experience.

Requirements
  • Minimum 60 or higher education credit hours in Social Services, Human Services, Health, Education.
OR
  • Minimum 90 or higher education credit hours in an unrelated field.
OR
  • A High School diploma and 3 years' direct experience working with children in a behavioral health children's services program.
  • Must obtain a provisional BHP certificate within 30 days of hire, and full BHP certification within a year of hire, training provided.
  • Must obtain First Aid/CPR and Blood borne Pathogens certification with 60 days of hire, training provided.
  • Must complete Safety Care training within 30 days of hire, training provided.
  • Valid State of Maine driver license, reliable transportation with proof of registration and insurance, and willingness to use own transportation for work.
