Chronic Care Certified Medical Assistant

Position Summary
As a Medical Assistant, you'll work remotely to support patient care through virtual consultations. Your role will involve managing a high volume of telehealth interactions, utilizing advanced technology platforms, and ensuring seamless documentation in Electronic Health Records (EHR). Your tech skills will be crucial as you develop and implement personalized care plans and assist patients with their healthcare needs. Candidates must reside in the Mountain or Pacific Time zone.
Essential Functions
- Conduct telephonic patient visits, and document them in EHR systems.
- Monitor and follow personalized care plans, addressing patients’ health concerns and goals.
- Utilize technology for documentation, and communication, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Provide guidance on health management, preventive care, and resource connections.
This remote position requires a high-speed internet connection and a quiet, HIPAA-compliant workspace. We provide the necessary equipment, including a computer and headset.
Physical Demands
This is a virtual position that requires you to sit or stand at a computer for 30-40 hours weekly and be able to make phone calls—some equipment setup required. Position Type and Hours
Full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday – Friday, between 8 am – 6 pm Pacific Time.
Pay Structure $20-$25 hourly Requirements
- Certification as a Medical Assistant (must be current)
- Minimum of two years of clinical experience
- Proficiency with EHR systems and Microsoft Office (Teams, Outlook, Excel)
- Experience with telehealth platforms is a plus
- Must reside in MST or PST
- Strong tech skills and comfort with software and EHR systems.
- Ability to adapt quickly to new technologies and processes.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
