About the position:We have an opening for a Bilingual Claims Intake Specialist position to join our growing law firm. Candidate must have at least 2 years' working experience in a plaintiff's personal injury practice and be familiar with auto insurance including property damage, bodily injury, liability, commercial, uninsured motorists, and personal injury protection.

Candidate will be responsible for interviewing, screening and signing up potential new personal injury clients. Candidate will also be responsible for running errands for the company such as picking up records or delivering checks, therefore candidate must be a notary public. This position has substantial client interaction; therefore, applicant must be presentable, responsible and a good communicator. Position requires frequent home visits.

Requirements:
  • Extensive commercial auto, general/product liability, and construction defect.
  • This position’s primary task is handling vendor-related issues, contracts, reporting, issue resolution, and specialty projects.
  • Responsible for the review of high exposure claim files to ensure reserves are properly set and maintained, demands are handled appropriately, and regulatory standards are adhered to for compliance.
  • Handle complex claims matters involving property lines of insurance written by the Interinsurance Exchange in compliance with all regulatory and statutory requirements.
  • Review of processes for investigation, evaluation, and settlement of high complexity.
  • Effective communication with internal and external customers, communicating and interact with a variety of individuals to address issues in a prompt and professional manner.
  • Complete special projects or research as assigned by the Claims Manager.
  • Position requires travel around San Antonio and surrounding area.
  • Candidates must have clean driving record.
  • Must be willing to undergo background and driving record check.
  • Candidate must have a flexible schedule. Position requires on call rotation which can include nights and weekends.
  • Notary public.
  • All other duties assigned.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Sound administrative and organizational skills.
  • Great attention to detail.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Demonstrated decision-making ability.
  • Sales experience.
  • Bilingual required.

The starting pay depends on experience with bonuses eligibility.
