Project Controls Manager

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement project controls procedures and systems to monitor and track project performance, including cost, schedule, and scope.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to establish project baselines and performance metrics.
- Lead the preparation and maintenance of project schedules, budgets, and forecasts, ensuring accuracy and alignment with project objectives.
- Monitor project progress and performance against established baselines, identify variances, and implement corrective actions as necessary.
- Provide controls of projects in accordance with Primoris Policies and Procedures and all associated SOX approvals, processes, and documentation.
- Facilitate project status review meetings with operations and project management teams to discuss and validate forecasts.
- Generate and analyze project performance reports, trends, and forecasts to provide timely and accurate insights to project teams and management.
- Facilitate project risk management activities, including identification, assessment, mitigation, and contingency planning.
- Support project change management processes, including the evaluation of change requests and impact analysis on project cost and schedule.
- Provide leadership and guidance to project controls team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
- Drive efficiency and effectiveness in project controls processes through the implementation of best practices, tools, and technologies.
Education & Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project controls management within the power delivery or utility industry.
- Proficiency in project management software tools such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or equivalent.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex project data and trends.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Proven leadership experience, with the ability to motivate and develop team members.
- Knowledge of industry standards and best practices in project controls, scheduling, and cost management.
- PMP or similar project management certification is a plus.
Compensation & Benefits:
Salary range $130-165K commensurate with experience, in concert with medical, dental, vision, 401K with company, match and more.
