Job Summary:
In your Business Development Lead position, you’ll be taking charge of finding, cultivating, closing, and expanding large sales to US-based companies. Target industries and segments include image recognition, multimedia analysis and insights, photo printing, photo management, sports/entertainment, and marketing.
You’ll be responsible for finding and signing new customers to help them generate value from their existing and growing multimedia collections. We expect you to build and maintain your own sales funnel, take charge of discovery, and help create solutions that close deals that access the massive growth within the growing AI services and image recognition category.
You’ll have the opportunity to shape innovative solutions that address current and future customer image analytics needs.
What you’ll be doing:
- Working to find new sales opportunities for our existing products and businesses with new needs in our space.
- Qualifying opportunities and driving those opportunities to closure.
- Continuously acquiring and providing expertise on AI products, technology, and services about the technical needs of SMBs and large enterprise customers.
- Helping define and exceed assigned sales targets and initiatives.
- Shaping product strategy with direct input from existing and potential customers.
- Collaborating cross-functionally to provide feedback to product and product marketing teams.
- Presenting to audiences at executive meetings, customer demos, and trade shows.
- Managing prospects through closure in our CRM.
- Implementing and managing sales operations.
- Supporting customers through trials to help them choose our solution.
- Going out to meet new people, attend conferences and source new markets.
- $120k to $130k Base Salary
- Commission
- Stock incentive programs.
- Bonuses for exceeding sales targets.
Requirements:
- Sales experience in at least one of the following industries: image analytics, computer vision, consumer photo printing, digital asset management, artificial intelligence services, sports/entertainment technology or photo processing.
- Account development experience.
- Top communication skills to effectively sell services and articulate new ideas.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as a team.
- Willingness to travel up to customer locations.
- An existing network in photo or multimedia-heavy industries.
- Experience developing large enterprise accounts.
- Pricing and negotiation experience.
- Product or strategy background.
- Desire to participate in sales hiring, training, and management.

Position Location:This is a remote role but the closer you are to San Diego, CA, the better. There will be times when you are required to come to the company headquarters.
