Medical Practice Manager – Greater Syracuse area, NY

Full-Time | Syracuse Hearing Solutions


Syracuse Hearing Solutions is seeking an experienced Medical Practice Manager with exceptional leadership skills to join our growing hearing & balance healthcare practice.

As the Office Manager, your role will encompass practice management, staff management and development, strategic planning, marketing and human resources.


Responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing daily operations, ensuring optimal efficiency and profitability.
  • Ensuring process and policy adherence and maintain accurate record-keeping.
  • Manage accounting (accounts payable, receivable, and budgeting).
  • Perform HR functions such as hiring, training, performance reviews, payroll, and benefits.
  • Represent the practice in its relationships with other health organizations, government agencies, third-party payers, and community organizations.


Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of healthcare office management experience, to include direct personnel management.
  • BA in Healthcare Administration or equivalent.
  • Extensive knowledge of medical insurance billing and collection practices.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for efficient and constructive communication with providers, support staff, patients, colleagues, and vendors.
  • Excellent computer skills, including electronic medical records software, Microsoft Word and Excel, and data entry. Experience with Quickbooks is a must.
  • Proven organizational and problem-solving abilities along with process improvement skillsets.
  • Ability to manage a busy office environment with professionalism and compassion while prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.


Compensation & Benefits:

  • Annual salary starting at $70,000 (DOE) with opportunity to participate in performance bonus program.
