Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and client-focused Account Manager / Project Manager to join our team. This dual-role is pivotal in managing key client relationships while overseeing multiple projects related to product development within the fashion industry. The ideal candidate will have strong project management skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for fashion. This is an onsite role based in our Broomfield, Colorado office.
Key Responsibilities:
Account Management:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, fostering long-term relationships and ensuring satisfaction with services.
- Understand client needs and objectives, and translate those into actionable project plans.
- Collaborate with clients to manage timelines, deliverables, and project expectations.
- Regularly update clients on project progress, addressing any issues or changes with proactive communication.
- Ensure client feedback is incorporated into all stages of product development.
Project Management:
- Manage the full lifecycle of fashion product development projects, from concept through delivery.
- Oversee project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful execution within scope.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including design, production, and sourcing, to ensure alignment on project goals.
- Maintain detailed project documentation, including schedules, status reports, and client communications.
- Identify and mitigate potential project risks, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Track multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met without compromising quality.
Collaboration & Leadership:
- Lead cross-functional meetings, ensuring clear communication between internal teams and clients.
- Work closely with production teams to ensure all product specifications are met and deadlines adhered to.
- Maintain a deep understanding of the fashion industry, including trends, materials, and production processes, to provide clients with relevant and insightful guidance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, fashion, or a related field (or equivalent real-world experience).
- 3-5 years of experience in account management, project management, or product development, preferably within the fashion industry.
- Demonstrated success managing client relationships and overseeing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage competing priorities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management tools (e.g., Monday.com, Asana, or similar).
- Experience with product development cycles and timelines in the fashion industry.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changes quickly.
- Ability to travel domestically as needed (up to 10%).
