As a QA Lead, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our transactional search application. You will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive test strategies to identify and address defects early in the development lifecycle.


Duties and Responsibilities:

Test Strategy Development: Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies, including functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.

Test Automation: Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using appropriate tools and frameworks.

Test Execution: Oversee the execution of test cases, analyze test results, and report on test coverage and defect metrics.

Defect Management: Track and manage defects throughout the development lifecycle, working closely with development teams to resolve issues promptly.

Team Leadership: Mentor and guide QA team members, providing technical guidance and fostering a collaborative work environment.

Cloud Technologies: Demonstrate proficiency in working with cloud-based environments and leveraging AI/ML technologies for testing.

Test API and Web Services: Design, develop, and execute test plans for API and web services, ensuring functionality, performance, and security.


Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5 years of experience in software quality assurance.
  • 2 years of experience in a leadership role.
  • 3 years in at least one of the test automation frameworks and tools (e.g., Selenium, Cucumber, Jmeter, ReadyAPI/GroovyScript).
  • 2 years of experience working with at least one cloud platform (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) and AI/ML technologies.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Successfully completed at least three software testing projects, resulting in a documented reduction in defects of at least 15% compared to previous projects.
  • Experience testing applications built with LLM and Vertex AI.
  • Knowledge of financial services industry standards and regulations.
  • Experience with API and web services testing using tools like Postman or SoapUI
