As the Lead Interior Designer, you will lead creative collaborative teams dedicated to developing and implementing high-quality designs for residential spaces. The Lead Designer will be responsible for delivering high-quality deliverables. This includes all phases of design: programming, FF&E, schematic design, design development, construction documentation, and construction administration. You will be responsible for projects from the initial client meeting through installation and will work directly with the Design Director to ensure the project is completed on time and on budget to the highest standards.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in interior design or interior architecture
  • 7-10 years of experience
  • NCIDQ is not required, but would be preferred.
  • In depth knowledge of Interior Architecture and custom home construction includes trim and cabinet detailing.
  • Successful track record with over 10,000 square foot custom home interiors.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and relationship management skills.
  • Knowledge of furniture, finishes, materials, color selections, and specifications.
  • Graphics and visualization skills to effectively communicate design ideas and produce construction documents.
  • Excellent organizational and prioritizing skills with the ability to adapt to frequently changing priorities.
  • Proven ability to project manage an interior design project and lead a team.
