We are looking for a Full Stack .NET Developer to drive the Energy Market to the next level Support our Back Office with existing tools and build new ones that help automate daily processes. Be part of RWE Renewables Americas, one of the top 10 onshore wind companies in the US and make a difference to our climate by developing sustainable solutions for our wholesale power business.

Responsibilities:

  • Support our internal confirmations and settlement solutions used across sites and collaborate with a global team in Germany and the UK.
  • Support the PCI system for the Chicago Back Office and develop interfaces to other internal systems.
  • Analyze Back Office processes and develop solutions for automation of tasks for better maintainability.
  • Collaborate with colleagues from other IT teams to build sustainable interfaces to exchange data and enable E2E processing.

Minimum Requirements:

  • University Degree preferably in Information Systems or Computer Science.
  • Good experience in C# .Net development with Blazor.
  • Experience with AWS and cloud application development including pipelines and cloud native technologies.
  • A passion for supporting the business to fulfill their daily work.
  • Solution-oriented thinker who appreciates collaboration across departments and teams.
  • Strong communicator familiar with presenting to middle and higher management.
  • Good self-organizing skills and able to work alone and in a team.
  • Open to travel at least once a year to Europe to strengthen collaboration within the team and cross stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of the Confirmations and Settlement and Clearing process for bilateral and exchange traded products in the energy market is advantageous, but not a must.
