THE ROLE:

This role will be part of the team of Data Scientists that are designing the next generation of ML and AI into the Enterprise Data Center GPU space.

THE PERSON:

We are looking for deep learning data scientists with proven record implementing models and AI solutions around computer vision, language models and/or reinforcement or recommender models. If you have experience in at least 2 of the 4, we are looking for you....

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Understanding and prototyping customer AI workloads and working with optimization team on accelerating models for AMD infrastructure.
  • Delivering AI solutions in line with product roadmap on time with high quality.
  • Involved in cross function team interaction and engagement with various key players and stakeholders in the organization.
  • Play a role in all the phases of software & model development, from requirement gathering, analysis, design, development, testing and final release to customers.
  • Provide clear and timely communication related to status and other key aspects of the project to leadership team.
  • Responsible for working with customers and internal support teams for resolving critical customer escalations on a need basis.
  • Willingness to learn skills, tools, and methods to advance the quality, consistency, and timeliness of AMD software products.
  • Experience with deep learning models and associated AI frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, Jax (FLAN))

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Deep experience with AI/ML frameworks like Pytorch, Tensor flow, JAX, etc. is required.
  • Knowledge of Acceleration platforms like GPU, TPU, APU is required.

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

  • BS, MS, or PhD with several years of related experience in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering or Computer Science or related equivalent from top universities.
