Core Launch Supervisor

Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and revision of torque tool equipment and processes for automotive manufacturing.
- Ensure that standards are followed and implemented throughout the model launch, from project design to final assembly.
- Manage VPE (Vehicle Process Engineering) projects and oversee engineers represented by the UAW (United Auto Workers) union, ensuring compliance with union contract requirements.
- Ensure that manufacturing processes meet Manufacturing Quality Assurance System standards.
- Collaborate with manufacturing, maintenance, various engineering teams, finance, and purchasing departments.
- Provide leadership and direction in cross-functional projects related to fastening systems and processes.
- May collaborate with other Core groups such as Electrical and Alignment teams.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or at least 5 years of tooling experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in General Assembly or a similar field.
- Experience with torque and fastening systems.
- Ability to work overtime when necessary.
- Availability to travel within the U.S. and Canada as needed
