Job Description:

As a Junior Estimator, your primary focus will be supporting the preparation of cost estimates for projects. Key responsibilities include:

  • Cost Estimation: Develop detailed cost estimates for spincast-related projects, ensuring accuracy and thoroughness.
  • Plan Review: Analyze project plans, drawings, and specifications to calculate material quantities and labor needs.
  • Material Take-Offs: Perform precise quantity take-offs for spincast materials, such as lining systems for pipelines, tanks, and culverts.
  • Supplier Collaboration: Engage with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain pricing and ensure competitive bids.
  • Bid Preparation: Assist in preparing competitive bids, focusing on pricing strategies and spincast-based solutions.
  • Site Visits: Attend site visits and pre-bid meetings to assess project requirements and challenges firsthand.
  • Cost Management: Maintain a comprehensive database of spincast materials, equipment, and labor costs while supporting cost monitoring during construction.

What We’re Looking For:

  • A college graduate with a degree in construction management, engineering, business, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills, with an attention to detail.

  • Comfortable and confident conversing with, asking questions to, and answering questions from strangers (potential subcontractors or customers)
