As a Local Move Coordinator, you will manage all aspects of the moving process, ensuring smooth, efficient relocations for both residential and commercial clients. If you're skilled in logistics and excel at managing details, this is the perfect opportunity for you.


Responsibilities of the Local Move Coordinator:

  • Act as clients' primary point of contact throughout the moving process.
  • Create detailed move plans, including schedules and timelines.
  • Oversee all logistics related to each move, ensuring efficient staff, vehicles, and equipment coordination.
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations and company policies during the relocation process.
  • Provide clients with accurate cost estimates and service details.
  • Regularly update clients on the status of their move and address any concerns promptly.
  • Resolve any issues that arise during the relocation to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Work closely with moving crews and third-party vendors to ensure timely and efficient moves.
  • Maintain thorough documentation, including contracts, schedules, and client communications.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by delivering excellent service and support throughout the moving process.


Requirements of the Local Move Coordinator:

  • Previous experience in a move coordination role within a moving company.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple relocations simultaneously.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and move management software.
  • Familiarity with local moving regulations and logistics in the Atlanta, GA area.
