Location: Santa Ana, CA


Job Summary:


  • Epitec is seeking a Logistics Specialist to support and work within claims.
  • The ideal candidate would have a logistics background,
  • and can sort through documentation and accept any issues or shipments. They will also need to report on any claims or issues/resolutions that come up.
  • This is a short-term project to help the team with logistics and claims onboarding.
  • Schedule: Monday - Friday fully on-site in Santa Ana, CA
  • Pay Rate: $25 - 29/hourly with optional benefits plans



Job Responsibilities:


  • Conduct thorough investigations into potential claims, identifying root causes and coordinating with relevant departments to resolve discrepancies.
  • Prepare and present comprehensive weekly reports detailing the status of ongoing logistics projects, highlighting key performance indicators (KPIs), progress updates, and any issues that may require attention.
  • Efficiently manage and maintain all data related to claims investigations, ensuring accuracy and consistency across all records.
  • Utilize data management tools to track claim status and trends, providing real-time updates to relevant stakeholders.
  • Assist in the creation of ad-hoc reports as needed, supporting internal teams with custom data insights and analysis to drive decision-making.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams (e.g., procurement, customer service, legal) to gather necessary information for claims investigations and ensure alignment on corrective actions and resolutions.



Required Education and Experience:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, Finance or similar preferred; High School Diploma or Associate's degree required.
  • Expertise with SAP and advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.

  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Ability to manage and work effectively within cross-functional groups.
  • Ability to adapt quickly and be flexible in a dynamic environment.
  • The ability to work either independently or in a team environment to achieve personal and team project goals, including the completion of assignments within and exceeding established time frames.
