Our client, a prominent player in the supply chain industry, is known for delivering high-quality distribution and fulfillment services for major brands. We're searching for a Purchasing/Procurement Specialist to help drive success in this fast-paced, innovative environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and procure inventory to meet customer needs, ensuring optimal cost, quality, and delivery.
  • Oversee vendor relationships, negotiating agreements and ensuring all terms are met.
  • Review product performance and turnover rates to identify areas for improvement.
  • Partner with sales to implement vendor programs that enhance margins and profitability.
  • Monitor stock levels and process orders for designated suppliers.
  • Use sales insights to develop strategies for slow-moving inventory.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or a related discipline.
  • Experience in procurement or purchasing, particularly in distribution or retail.
  • Expertise in negotiating and analyzing data.
  • Proficiency in Excel and the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to manage tasks independently.
  • Ability to prioritize effectively in a fast-moving environment.
