POSITION OVERVIEW:
This is an entry level position with opportunity for upward mobility. You’re in a position to truly impact someone’s life in a meaningful way. Clients will look up to you for answers. We have to care about their mental health just as much as their physical health. Are you up for that task?
The level of responsibility you take on for people is on a different level.. You’re handling people’s mental stabilities and traumas. If someone doesn’t have their shit together personally, how do we expect trainers to do that for others?
Not only do you guide them with workouts and nutrition, you become their friend, their confidante, their accountability and their support. All I ask is that you bring passion & work ethic. If you’re able to bring passion and work ethic to the table I can assist with everything else.
Duties (not limited too)
- Personal Training: Design and deliver personalized fitness programs based on clients' goals, needs, and fitness levels.
- Motivation: Inspire and motivate clients through positive reinforcement, encouragement, and support.
- Assessment: Conduct fitness assessments and track clients’ progress to adjust programs as needed.
- Education: Provide clients with knowledge on exercise techniques, nutrition, and overall wellness.
- Safety: Ensure a safe and effective workout environment by maintaining equipment and ensuring proper exercise techniques.
- Customer Service: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing any questions or concerns promptly.
- Professional Development: Stay updated with the latest fitness trends, techniques, and certifications to continually enhance your skills.
Qualifications:
- Certification: Current certification from a recognized fitness organization (e.g., ACE, NASM, NSCA).
- Experience: Previous experience in personal training or a related field is preferred, but we welcome enthusiastic newcomers with the right mindset. (not entirely necessary, we are willing to invest time into someone willing to learn)
- Passion: A genuine passion for fitness and a strong desire to help others reach their health goals.
- Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to connect with clients and build rapport.
- Physical Fitness: A commitment to personal fitness and a healthy lifestyle.
- Adaptability: Ability to adapt workout programs and strategies to meet the diverse needs of clients.
- Team Player: A collaborative attitude and willingness to work as part of a team to achieve common goals.
