Our client, a leading global law firm, is seeking an Immigration Paralegal to join their Immigration Practice in Boston. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with attorneys and paralegals to prepare and file business and employment-related immigration documentation. A key focus of the position is providing writing support for extraordinary ability cases, including O-1 visa and EB-1 green card petitions while assisting clients with complex immigration processes.
This position requires a 60% in-office presence to foster collaboration and team integration, with the flexibility to work remotely for the remaining time.
Responsibilities
- Assist attorneys and team members with the preparation and filing of business and employment-related immigration documentation.
- Draft and prepare writing-intensive materials, such as reference letters and exhibit packages, for O-1 visa and EB-1 green card petitions.
- Collect and organize evidence and documentation from clients.
- Maintain and analyze client databases and immigration status reports.
- Develop knowledge of procedural and processing requirements for various immigration filings.
- Provide support on firm projects and other assignments as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Minimum of 1+ years of professional work experience; experience in business immigration or a law firm.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize competing demands and manage deadlines effectively.
- Capable of working both independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) with an ability to adapt to new software.
- A professional and proactive approach, with an emphasis on client service and confidentiality.
