Program Director – Occupational Therapy | Nebraska Methodist College
Nebraska Methodist College is hiring a Program Director for Occupational Therapy to lead and manage our distinguished program. This senior leadership role is responsible for overseeing program operations, ensuring accreditation compliance, guiding faculty, and driving curriculum development. The Program Director will also mentor students, deliver hybrid instruction, and foster excellence in occupational therapy education. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of our program and students.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Oversee program management, curriculum planning, evaluation, budgeting, and faculty supervision.
- Develop and assess academic and fieldwork education, ensuring ACOTE compliance and maintaining accreditation.
- Recruit and assign qualified faculty, support adjunct faculty, and promote faculty development.
- Coordinate between academic and clinical areas, and seek grants to support program and research.
- Provide instruction, grading, and mentoring to students, utilizing diverse teaching methods and technology.
- Participate in college activities, update course materials, and stay current in the field.

Job Qualifications:
- Doctorate in Occupational Therapy or related field (ACOTE, 2018, A.2.1).
- 8 years of professional experience in clinical practice, administration, scholarship, and teaching, with at least 3 years in a full-time academic role (ACOTE, 2018, A.2.1).
- Experience in curricular design, distance education, and online program development preferred.
- Prior experience with program accreditation and evaluation/outcomes assessment preferred.
- Positive regard for entry-level master's programs preferred.
