Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Inventory Coordinator located in Houston, TX. The Inventory Coordinator will be responsible for tasks such as inventory accuracy and overall inventory control to ensure efficient operations.


Responsibilities

  • Get all assigned 3PY yard inventory records each month and compare the yard inventory with the Sooner inventory record to identify differences.
  • Report inventory differences to Reconciliation Group, Accounts Payable, Sales and to Yard.
  • Coordinate with the yard to get differences corrected.
  • Secure documentation required in reconciling differences requiring the posting to Sooner’s record.
  • Post Sooner’s record; Input data into Oracle such as location transfers, Purchase Orders (shipments, receipts), condition changes (coating changes, end finish changes)
  • Identify and correct any differences in inventories found at any time through the month
  • Assist in year-end inventory counts


Qualifications

Required:                                                                                                                            

  • High School Diploma or equivalent                                                                                                                  
  • Effective oral and written communication                                                                                           
  • Previous tubular goods experience                                     
  • Previous inventory experience                                           
  • Good computer skills

Preferred:

  • College degree
  • Oracle ERP experience
