We knew that people like you exist, because we have 12 of them on our team.


But gosh dang it, it’s a rare bunch of twelve people.


We call ourselves Frank & Maven. Don’t worry. We can Explain: 


  • Frank means we give bold advice to the companies we grow.
  • A Maven is an expert with the heart of a teacher (so we are always teaching them the “why” behind our decisions). 


Pair those two things with unusually talented marketers, and you get the most courageous & caring small business consulting firm you will ever find (for real). 


Since 2014 we have been growing owner-operated companies all across America, right here in little ol’ Springfield, MO. 


In case you’re wondering, we don’t just grow them a tiny bit… under our watch, they often 10X in size in just a few years, and boy howdy is that fun to watch. 


When our clients grow like that, they change the lives of endless people in their community, and for the churches, charities, and causes they serve. (we have the best clients in the world).  


We believe owner-operated companies are one of the most powerful forces in the universe, and that’s why we exclusively work with them.


Speaking of work…


If you’re even remotely creative, you’ve probably been roped into a whacky bunch of random “marketing,” gigs by now… some for great people, and some for buttheads, right? (ick)


We learned a while back that just because we “can” do something, doesn’t mean we should. So we started saying “no” to things that aren’t 100% about growing good-hearted companies.  


What that means for our team is that we get to do work we like (not just what we’re obligated to do).

It makes a difference.


Sorry, by now you’re probably wondering… “what in the heck is this job?”


We’ll cut to the chase:


  • We need an organized & crafty creative to help get stuff done for our Medical & Legal clients
  • We call this position “Account Manager”
  • That means that about 1/3 of the time you will be meeting with our clients, updating them on progress, and helping your team strategist (Leslie) create monthly action plans.
  • Leslie is a freaking blast to work with
  • The other 2/3 of the time, you’ll be working with your team of writers, videographers, and media experts to create ads, websites, and social media that attract new customers
  • Practically, you need to be comfortable making graphics and words for emails, Meta Ads, and landing pages. BUT ALSO, you really need to be comfortable talking with our clients (business owners), and leading conversations about the work we are doing for them. This is crucial for this gig


Some things you should know:


  • We work 8-5 in office M-F (South Springfield). We usually work Friday’s remotely (at your home or preferred coffee shop).


  • We simply can’t do the excellent things we do as a fully remote company, so please do not ask about remote work (we’ll delete ya).


  • You will very rarely see a car in our parking lot after 5:30pm … family is important and WE MEAN IT


  • We simply do not tolerate drama queens, lazy people, liars, or narcissists. If you are any of these things, you won’t make it one day here, because life is too short to work with people who suck (this goes for team and clients)


  • You will be CHALLENGED here in the good ways, because we believe that if we aren’t growing you, we are using you (and we don’t use people).


  • The Account Manager position is salary + bonus. Yes, there’s a wide range listed on this post, but we’ll be 100% transparent with your earning potential when we talk. 


  • We provide health insurance benefits AND direct primary care membership to Command Health (coolest thing ever… you get your own doctor on call)


  • We grant 18 days paid time off on your first year here. It grows from there.


  • We have a company match IRA retirement program (free money)
