Our client is a mid sized organization who is looking to add a Senior Cost Analyst to their team. This is an opportunity to join a growing organization with plenty of room for an advancement, and become a Senior Cost Analyst on this team where you would be assigned a Principal mentor to help you get up to speed on the company and the role. They have an excellent culture, and provide their employees the flexibility that they need.
Senior Cost Analyst Job Responsibilities
The Senior Cost Analyst needs to be able to look at a problem, ask the right questions to understand the factors driving cost, and make fact based recommendations as to how to proceed. This is a challenging and dynamic position, so the ability to follow through is critical. This Senior Cost Analyst needs to be hands on, ready to do the legwork from start to finish themselves, while operating in a team environment.
• Review Financial Monthly Results
• Build tools to keep cost models up to date and empower our sales force with information and pricing.
• Conduct targeted analysis on what the company is paying, identify alternatives, and make recommendations on moving forward.
• Must work collaboratively with sales, engineering, and production.
Senior Cost Analyst Job Requirements
The ideal candidate for this Senior Cost Analyst role has analytical experience, is detail oriented, is able to check his or her own work, and is excited by the opportunities for the continued development this Senior Cost Analyst role provides. This is a terrific, dynamic Senior Cost Analyst position suited for an ambitious and driven individual.
• Bachelors degree in Accounting
• 4+ Years Cost Accounting/Analyst experience
• Advanced Excel Skills
• Large ERP System Experience
• Excellent Oral and Written Communication Skills
