About the Opportunity:
- Schedule: Monday to Friday
- Hours: 8am to 5pm
Responsibilities:
The Family Practice Physician will:
- Diagnose, treat, and manage a wide range of illnesses and medical conditions for patients
- Perform routine check-ups, health-risk assessments, immunization and screening tests, and personalized counseling on maintaining a healthy lifestyle
- Manage chronic diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, and asthma by developing and implementing long-term care plans
- Provide care for acute illnesses and injuries, including infections, minor injuries, and sudden illnesses
- Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests, such as lab work, imaging studies, and ECGs
- Prescribe medications and provide guidance on the use of over-the-counter medications
- Refer patients to specialists when specialized care
- Monitor patient progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including history, treatment plans, and outcomes
- Perform other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
- Licensed to practice Medicine in the State of Florida
- Board Eligible / Certified in Internal Medicine, Family Practice, Pediatrics or Medical-Pediatrics
Desired Skills:
- 3+ years of postgraduate experience in an Ambulatory, Acute Care, and/or Private Practice
