PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Verifies Insurance coverage and processes Waivers
  • Investigate client inquiries as directed by Account Managers with the ability to transition and handle emergent priorities
  • Conduct Audits for Account Managers to ensure clean billing
  • Update client files and database with accuracy. Ability to handle heavy seasonal database updates
  • Maintains the strictest confidentiality; adheres to all HIPAA guidelines/regulations.
  • Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
  • Provide personal prompt and efficient customer service via telephone
  • Works primarily within Excel to process and maintain data.Works in conjunction with account managers to ensure clean billing.
  • Maintains the strictest confidentiality; adheres to all HIPAA guidelines/regulations.
  • Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel (Intermediate or higher) and Microsoft Access systems.Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment where things happen very quickly, and activity is continuous throughout the day.
  • Ability to juggle multiple tasks at once.
  • Quick Learner
  • Ability to grasp new software applications.
  • Ability to work independently on assigned tasks, as well as to accept direction on given assignments
  • Possession of strong problem-solving skills and sound judgment.
  • Ability to collaborate across departments and build effective relationships with internal and external customers to achieve goals.
  • Knowledge of customer service principles and practices.
  • Ability to be proactive and take the initiative.
  • Exhibit a high level of quality through attention to detail and monitoring of work.
  • Possession of strong organizational skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, as well as exceptional interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to Deal with confidential information and/or issues using discretion and judgment
