Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the strategic IT planning process and act as an advisor and guiding force for favorable outcomes. Produce business architecture models that echo our institution's schemes and objectives.
  • Provide architectural proficiency and leadership to various sectors in our institution, including the IT Department and senior administrators.
  • Take the lead in establishing architecture strategy, and manage responsibilities related to planning, designing, and introducing enterprise solutions across various technological aspects.
  • Hold expert-level understanding of our institution's infrastructure and propose ways to continuously develop it.
  • Document existing infrastructure architecture and technology portfolio, and recommend suggestions for improvements or other alternatives.
  • Analyze feasibility and compliance of potential, new and existing system design projects and outsourcing plans.
  • Supervise multiple consulting projects or a single venture of larger complexity, ensuring the success of enterprise-level implementation.
  • Manage a systems capacity plan and overlook work projects and processes to ensure technical efficiency.
  • Develop and execute testing plans to check on infrastructure and system's technical performance. Analyze results and suggest improvements.


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, management information systems (MIS), or related field.
  • Seven years of increasing responsibility in IT practices covering application development, data handling, infrastructure or security.
  • Two years of architecture design experience and management with third-party vendors to sustain crucial systems.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation method for performance of duties.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Ten years of growing responsibility in IT practices and four years of architecture design.


Abilities:

  • Ability to clearly convey complex technical concepts, work under pressure, evaluate and introduce new technologies to support business functions.
  • Knowledge of SQL, SharePoint, ServiceNow, Window OS, LAN, WAN, HyperV
  • Ability to work as a team and apply systems thinking to streamline processes.
  • Mastery of Microsoft 365 software and apt at maintaining confidentiality at work.
  • Ability to professionally speak, present, and interact in crowded spaces.
