We are seeking a structural engineer to help continue our growth in the Building engineering industry.
Job Responsibilities:
Provide design services for buildings, steel, wood and masonry.
Evaluate and determine structural load rating of new and existing structures
Supervise preparation of design drawings for client review, permitting, and construction
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science Civil Engineering with Structural Emphasis
4 years in New York City
Ability to work in a fast paced environment on multiple projects with simultaneous schedules
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Licensed Professional Engineer or ability to obtain license within one year
Experience generating calculations and construction details for steel, wood, masonry & concrete.
Experience with the structural provisions of the codes including seismic requirements
AutoCAD experience
