Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with the CIO to strategize and manage the organization’s Project Portfolio.
- Collaborate with the CIO and senior leadership to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables aligned with business objectives.
- Facilitate requirements gathering by engaging with business owners, analysts, and IT teams.
- Develop comprehensive project plans detailing timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
- Advise management on project proposals, budgets, staffing, risk assessments, and contingency plans.
- Lead and coordinate project teams to ensure alignment with objectives and timelines.
- Monitor and report on project progress, proactively addressing potential risks or issues.
- Conduct post-project evaluations to provide actionable insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards.
- Support project governance by maintaining the department's project dashboard.
- Assist the IT team with administrative functions using the Information Systems Project Management Tool.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
- Demonstrated capacity to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
- Expertise with project management software (e.g., MS Project, Asana, Trello).
- In-depth knowledge of business process improvement practices, including Change Management, Work Prioritization, Quality Assurance, and Continuous Improvement.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to adapt to shifting priorities in a dynamic environment.
Education and Experience:
- PMP or Agile certification is required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business, or a related discipline.
- At least 5 years of proven project management experience, successfully leading projects from initiation to completion.
