Position Description
Congresswoman-elect Maxine Dexter is seeking a District Director to oversee all operations other district office. The District Director will be responsible for managing office operations, developing and implementing policy strategies, and leading a dynamic team dedicated to serving the people of our district. This is a critical leadership role that plays a key part in ensuring that the needs of constituents are met with efficiency and professionalism.
Job Duties:
- Manage District Office Operations: Manage the day-to-day operations of the district office, ensuring effective and responsive constituent services.
- Develop Policy Objectives: Coordinate local efforts with the DC-based office to set policy priorities for the district, aligning local concerns with legislative goals.
- Implement Strategies and Plans: Design and execute strategies to achieve district office objectives, including outreach, community engagement, and legislative advocacy.
- Lead and Supervise Staff: Direct and support all district office staff, fostering a productive, team-oriented environment.
- Liaise with Constituents: Serve as the primary point of contact between the Congresswoman and district residents, addressing concerns, providing assistance, and ensuring their voices are heard in Washington, DC.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in public service, politics, or community engagement.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with legislative processes and constituent services.
- Commitment to the values and priorities of Congresswoman-elect Maxine Dexter.
- Experience managing a team and fostering a collaborative work environment.
